Africa World Now Project

Africa World Now Project

Is Africa a place? Is it the people? Is it politics, culture, art? What does Africa mean to you? What can Africa mean to us? Africa World Now Project deeply engages these and other complex questions… Africa World Now Project is a classroom on the radio. It provides actionable information that explores continuities and discontinuities in the history, culture, and politics of the entire African world. AWNP does this by engaging in organic discussions with scholars, artists, journalist, activist, social justice engineers and others who examine, from a decidedly progressive perspective, various issues that exist in the entire African world. AFrICa WOrLD noW PrOjecT [raDiO] is heard live every Wednesday @ 7PM EST on WSNC 90.5FM, an NPR affiliate & broadcast service of Winston Salem State University. Archived here.
