Eclectic Readers Book Club

The Eclectic Readers is a monthly book club podcast that reads an eclectic variety of books and discusses them. We try to read out of our comfort zone, with the goal of having our listeners read along with us, and, after listening to the episode, join in on the book's discussion through our social media pages on Litsy or Goodreads. The Eclectic Readers started in 2009 as an IRL book club of three and has since grown to a group of 12 spread across the United States. From there, in 2015, four of us in the book club thought we'd give podcasting a try and have been going strong ever since. In each monthly episode, we base our main book discussion on that month's IRL book club pick, but also add in other bookish discussions and have started recording special author interview episodes, too. With the launch of this website, we hope to not only continue discussing our book choices, but also have discussions about other books and authors, book culture, and book love in general. Basically, we want this to be a place to talk about books nonstop!
