Off Topic with Kyra and Jess

Welcome to Off Topic with Kyra & Jess, your place for all the random and relatable conversations (well relatable if you are a millennial, most likely). We’re just trying to keep it real, and being real means we cannot stay on just one topic per episode. We are two girls from small town Pennsylvania who have been friends since high school, and somehow both ended up in the DC metro area (heyyy DMV). We bring many different perspectives from growing up in a town where the nearest grocery store is 20 minutes away, to now living in one of the busiest metro areas in the US. Jess is a middle school teacher & Kyra is an ex-Capitol Hill staffer turned political polling researcher. Join us to talk about all things pop culture, world issues, funny everyday stories, embarrassing moments, and more! Prepare yourselves for many Grey’s Anatomy & The Bachelor franchise discussions (our faves). And of course we’ll invite our friends to join in on these discussions too. Enjoy!
